The Heat Care UK pedigree goes back over 26 years with the inception of gas-elec, created to offer gas & electrical services to the private rental sector. Since then the business has expanded into a well established and trusted brand partnering with many of the national lettings agencies within the market.

Our innovation and client centric approach have seen us expand our service offering, and we now provide combined inspections, electronic reporting, home service reports as well as a rent ready & compliance service to lift the burden of compliance monitoring from letting agencies.

Today as we continue our journey, we have created Heat Care UK. A sister company to gas-elec to provide the same level of quality service but specifically for the benefit of the home owner.

Our History

1996Inception
gas-elec was set up to provide gas safety inspections on a nationwide basis for the private rental sector. This allowed us to offer an end to end professional service to individual high street agents, through to the national corporate agents.
1997First Franchise
The introduction of the franchise model, which has grown the national network of successful regional and local franchisees and created the opportunity for local engineers to run their own businesses.
2017Buyout
4 regional manager franchisees successfully concluded a management buyout of the business with exciting plans for its future direction.
2022New Reports & Products
The launch of digital reports to improve delivery times and reduce paper plus our combined inspection products.
2023Launch of Heat Care UK
As we began to move towards catering for not only the private rental sector but also homeowners, the natural move was to create a brand that centered around the needs of that market and to keep gas-elec as a sister company providing services to the B2B sector. This opens up opportunities for both companies for the future.
