Gas Safety Inspections

Combined gas and electrical safety inspections are carried out by a local engineer who can provide numerous combined reports, all in one visit.

Heat Care UK can offer you the basic gas inspection (CP12), or opt for a combined inspection adding other services such as a boiler service or electrical inspection (PAT & visual).


Electrical Installation Condition Report

Get complaint with Heat Care UK.

With the new electrical legislation that came into law from July 2020, you are required to have a full EICR when renting a property. Feel assured that Heat Care UK will deliver a compliant and professional electrical insulation compliance report with any required remedial work and recommendations included.


Annual PAT Testing

Heat care UK’s annual pat testing includes the following

Annual electrical safety check (PAT)
- PAT test of up to 10 appliances
- Check for main earth and bonding to gas & water services
- Test for viable earth
- Visual check of consumer unit
- Check for obvious hazards e.g. exposed wiring, signs of scorching or overheating, unsafe sockets or light switches etc.
- Test of RCD (If present)


Smoke & CO Alarms

Be safe not sorry…

Our smoke alarms have a 10 year sealed lithium battery and one of these should be fitted on every floor of your property.

This is a smoke alarm with a 10 year sealed lithium battery (one per floor is required) AND a CO alarm in rooms with high risk gas appliances. When we fit our new Aico CO alarm in your property our gas check in following years will also provide you with a full combined gas safety & CO report. Boiler Installations

Heat Care UK provide boiler installations nationwide with an engineer local to you and your properties to let. We are able to provide you with a fixed quote with a range of boilers on offer to suit you. With most new boiler installs you will receive a 5–14-year warranty depending on the make of boiler and system you choose.

Service & Repair

Need an emergency repair? Our network of nationwide engineers is on call to solve any emergency breakdowns or repairs.

To ensure your boiler is working safely and efficiently, it should be serviced as often as once a year. Not having your boiler serviced could lead to faults, higher energy bills and your warranty ending early.


Legionella Assessments

With our Legionella Risk Assessment, the properties water system is identified and risk is assessed keeping your tenants safer from contaminated water risks, with all reports sent to you direct electronically.

EPC Certificates

If you are a property manager or a private landlord, from 1st April 2018, all private sector rental properties must reach a minimum of “E” rating on their Energy Performance Certificate. This applies firstly to new lets and renewed tenancies however; come April 2020 this will also apply for existing tenancies. After these dates going forward it will be illegal to rent a property which does not meet at least an “E” on its performance certificate.

The EPC is divided into 4 subsections
• The performance and environmental impact of the property
• Estimated energy use based on occupancy assumptions
• Energy performance features
• Improvement recommendations report.
