Legionella Risk Assessment
Legionella is a water-borne bacteria that can pose a real threat to a person by causing Legionnaires’ disease. The bacteria can survive a temperature range between 20°C – 50°C. As a landlord you have to comply with the safety regulations related to Legionella. Heat Care recommends getting a Legionella Risk Assessment completed on an annual basis.
This report identifies and associates’ risks assessed via visual inspections, including; water tanks in roof space, taps, hot water cylinders and shower outlets. Water temperatures are also recorded and thermostat settings checked.
