The type of personal information we collect
We currently collect and process the following information:

- Address
- Phone Number
- Email address
Note: We do not collect any bank details. Bank details entered via heatcare.co.uk are being entered directly into a stripe.co.uk, an FSC regulated company who provide our payment services.
How we get the personal information and why we have it
The personal information we process is provided to us directly by yourself for the following reason:
- To provide contracted services
We use the information that you have given us in order to
- Arrange and carry out contracted services
- Deliver contracted reports
- To confirm your identity before releasing any information
We may share this information with other companies within the gas-elec Group who may be used to carry out the contracted services.
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
(a) Your consent. You can remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting datateam@heatcare.co.uk
(b) We have a contractual obligation.
(c) We have a legal obligation.
(d) We have a legitimate interest.
How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored.
We will keep contact details until the contracted service has been completed.
Beyond that, they will be retained for the duration of any warranty period, until the expiry of any certification (when a reminder will be sent), and for any further period dictated by a statutory body (HSE, Gas safe, HMRC).
At the end of the retention period, we will anonymise the records on our system by overwriting all personal data with dummy data.

Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to object to processing – You have the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
