What Does my Boiler Fault Code Mean?
Do you have error codes appearing on your boiler which look like this F.78, F.83 & F.84? When your boiler stops working or has a fault appear it can be stressful and frustrating. However often your boiler will show what is wrong with it through a code.
To get your boiler back up and running and to help you troubleshoot the problem we have compiled a list of common boiler fault codes for you below. From here you will know what needs to be fixed and if you need any repairs or replacements. We will then be able to send out an engineer to resolve the issue for you.
An example of what the boiler fault codes could look like:
- 85 Vaillant – Fault: Flow and return temperature sensors incorrectly fitted- Flow and/or return temperature sensors have been fitted to the same pipe/wrong pipe
- 9U Worcester Bosch – Problem with the code plug (faulty or not connected)
- F2 Ideal Flame Loss.
